Booking an appointment
To book an appointment please click here, or contact Steph on 0405 981 879 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once your initial kinesiology consultation has been scheduled you will receive an email with the details of your appointment. Please download, print and complete the appropriate health history form below before coming in for your appointment. This will save time and allow us to make full use of the 90 minutes we have together.
What to expect from a kinesiology session?
In the first part of the session we will chat through your full health history. This holistic approach allows us to get a better understanding of what is happening and come up with goals for the session.
The second part of the session takes place on the treatment table. You will remain fully clothed, apart from your shoes and bulky jackets. It is more comfortable for women to wear trousers rather than a skirt, as this makes muscle monitoring more comfortable. A blanket can be provided if necessary.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no set number of appointments that we recommend to clients, but you can usually plan for a minimum of three sessions. Having said that, each individual is different and it also depends on what we are working on. Some people may feel a shift sooner than others, so it is good to listen to your own body and work with that.
Kinesiology for children
When working with children, the session structure will be a little different. Sessions will be 60 minutes instead of 90 minutes, and there will be less counselling and goal setting, and more exercises and integration. We try to keep it fun and different so that the child remains involved throughout the session.
